This is an archived version, kept so that anyone who accepted it can still read exactly what they agreed to. Read the current version.

This Privacy Policy explains how TwynUp™ collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information when you access or use the TwynUp platform, including its website, mobile application, products, services, features and related offerings (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Platform is also governed by the TwynUp Terms & Conditions.

TwynUp collects information that you provide directly when creating an account or using the Platform. This may include your name, mobile number, profile photograph, email address where provided, date of birth where provided, sporting interests, profile information, preferences and any other information that you choose to share.

As you use the Platform, TwynUp may collect information relating to your sporting activities, including participation, content you create or appear in, player profiles, achievements, interactions, comments, reactions, tags, sporting history, statistics, activity records and other information generated through your use of the Platform.

The Platform may create or collect photographs, videos, audio, imagery, gameplay, highlights, analytics, metadata and other content associated with sporting activities. Such content may be generated through your own use of the Platform, through participation in sporting activities supported by the Platform, through authorised organisers or partners, or through automated features available within the Platform.

TwynUp may also automatically collect certain technical information required to operate and improve the Platform. This may include your device information, operating system, application version, IP address, approximate location derived from your device or network, language settings, usage information, crash reports and diagnostic data.

We use the information we collect to create and manage your account, provide Platform features, organise sporting content, improve your experience, personalise recommendations, generate sporting insights, support user interactions, maintain security, detect misuse, provide customer support, communicate important updates, comply with legal obligations and develop new products, features and services.

TwynUp may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision and other automated technologies to organise, analyse, classify, enhance and generate sporting content, insights, recommendations, statistics and other outputs based on information available through the Platform. These technologies are intended to improve the Platform and user experience and are not intended to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.

Where you appear in content available through the Platform, TwynUp may associate that content with your profile using information such as participation records, tags or other identifying information available within the Platform. Such association is intended solely to support the functionality and experience of the Platform.

Where content is created by one user and includes or identifies other users, requests to remove or modify such content will be handled in accordance with the TwynUp Terms & Conditions, applicable law and our moderation policies. The appearance of an individual in content does not, by itself, entitle that individual to require its removal, except where required by applicable law or where TwynUp determines that removal is appropriate.

TwynUp does not sell your personal information. We may share information where reasonably necessary with service providers who help us operate the Platform, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, communication providers, payment service providers where applicable, event organisers or authorised partners involved in activities supported by the Platform, professional advisers, law enforcement authorities where required by law and other parties where you have expressly authorised such sharing.

Where content involves multiple users, relevant information may be visible to those users as part of the normal operation of the Platform. For example, users participating in the same sporting activity may be able to view shared content, participation records, match information or other information reasonably connected with that activity.

TwynUp may retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain sporting records, improve services, protect security or enforce our legal rights. Certain content or records may continue to be retained even after account closure where required by law or where reasonably necessary for archival, security or operational purposes.

TwynUp implements reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and TwynUp cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying TwynUp if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, review, update or correct your personal information, request deletion of information that is no longer required, withdraw certain permissions where legally permitted, object to or restrict certain processing activities, or request a copy of personal information that you have provided to us. Some of these rights may be limited where TwynUp is legally required or otherwise entitled to retain information.

If you choose to delete your account, your profile will no longer be accessible through the Platform. However, certain information, including content associated with other users, sporting records, legal records or archived system data, may continue to be retained where reasonably necessary or required by law.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. TwynUp is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third-party services, and you are encouraged to review their respective privacy policies before providing personal information.

TwynUp may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, applicable law or our information handling practices. The updated version will become effective when published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
